In October of 2003, owner Donna Candito-Williams and her team opened the doors to their premier salon and spa in Northborough, MA. Their mission was to provide a premium salon and spa experience and world class customer care. Thanks to our loyal clientele and talented team, we are the "Go To" for all ages and have been recognized as the Best Salon and Spa in Central Massachusetts. For the past 16 years, we have focused on delivering industry leading services, exceptional education, and the highest quality products to our customers.
Owners and sisters Donna and Laurie grew the business from 3-4 stylists to over 15 stylists, aestheticians, assistants, and other staff. Today, NLS offers a complete menu of salon and spa services including hair, skincare, facials, waxing, laser services, men's services, spray tanning, make up application and lessons all performed by expertly trained hair designers and spa professionals.
By 2007, New Leaf Salon had outgrown its original home and the sisters custom built out a brand new location one mile down West Main St. The new facility offers 14 stations, 4 aesthetics rooms, beautiful waiting areas and a relaxing processing room, as well as other amenities.
In 2016, due to Laurie's illness, Donna's husband Derek joined New Leaf as co-owner and President after many years as a software executive.
Today, at its new facility, New Leaf Salon and Spa continues to provide unparalleled services and extraordinary experiences to its clientele. We are proud of the lasting relationships we have built with our customers from Northborough, the surrounding towns, and throughout New England.
New Leaf is a Goldwell Titanium Level Salon. This partnership allows us to provide world class products and also keeps our stylists educated on the most up to date techniques. It also allows our staff the opportunity for Academy Education in New York City and Toronto.

About Donna Candito-Williams, Owner
Donna has been in the beauty business for 30+ years. For as I long as I can remember, I have loved art, beauty, fashion and music. After modeling professionally and attending Endicott College for Commercial Art and Leo's Beauty Institute for cosmetology, I started my career as a make up and hair artist. I am fortunate to have worked with several exceptional mentors (Paul Mitchell, Jason Toupin & Paul Thomas), which helped propel my career.
After working as an apprentice and quickly building a clientele, I opened my first salon at age 26. When my children came along, I decided to sell my salon and eventually worked at other area salons. My sister Laurie and I had always talked about having a business together. So when we were both raising our young children, we created and launched New Leaf Salon and Spa in Northborough, MA with 4-5 employees.
My goal was to create a salon and spa that was above the normal salon and spas in terms of catering to clients and continuously educating ourselves in order to stay current. I also wanted to create a great place for hair stylists, estheticians, and all staff to work and grow. Over the years, we have been blessed to build New Leaf from a small salon and spa into a full service salon and spa while employing many great people along the way.
I have mentored well over a dozen assistants and watched them soar and become busy stylists. I consider New Leaf Salon and Spa to be our art studio where we collaborate and learn constantly. Being an artist of and for the people, is both an honor and a joy!
